GH Ted Talk

Hello friends (:

Here is my ted talk video! I start out discussing what genius hour is, then I discuss travelling in general, and then I give insight into what my genius hour project taught me about planning a trip.

    Hi Haley!

    I love that you breakdown the importance of Genius Hour and why students (and even people out of school) should do it! Fun fact: We have similar undergraduate degrees! I studied Radio and Television Arts. I appreciated the "Listen To Your Heart" interlude! Haha! Switzerland is at the top of my bucket list! I would have loved to hear more about where you have travelled!

    Awesome TedTalk!! I really liked how you incorporated music in the background, and your editing was on point. A very interesting GH topic. I enjoyed how you introduced GH and how you explained why you think GH would have been beneficial for you in high school.

    Really well done Hales! I can see that you really put a lot of thought into what you wanted to say and really prepared for your Ted Talk...everything came together nicely and it seemed really natural. I also liked that you had music going in the background, I wish I had done that (teach me? lol). Your Ted Talk was really inspirational, I've always been a little afraid of going out there and travelling. It's something I have always wanted to do, but I always just ended up doing an all inclusive trip and played it safe. But it's time I actually just go out there and book something! Overall great job girl!

    Hi Hailey! Your topic is very interesting and you explained it well in your ted talk! I like how you have laid out your blog. It is clear where to find information and specific content. The colours are really fun and you have incorporated many different elements. I like that the posts are easy to scroll through and the images make it engaging. I did notice that some of your titles are not capitalized in and you missed some citations. You could add these things to make you blog a bit more professional. I think this would just make your blog a bit more crisp if you did this. Overall, I think you blog is an amazing portfolio and show cases your work well. You have clearly been consistent in updating it and have included all the necessary information. GREAT JOB!
